On our last day we followed the last days of Jesus.
Today we went to Elon Moreh and viewed Shechem and the Mount Ebal and Mt. Gerazim (Blessing and cursing), Then the site where the Tabernacle resided for almost 400 years at Shiloh. After returning to Jerusalem we went to the Wailing wall and the Rabbinical Tunnels.
Today we visited the Temple Mount. From there we walked to the Pools of Bethesda where Jesus healed a man who had been waiting 38 years. We also visited St. Annes Cathedral before leaving the city for an archeological dig in Moresha. We also visited the Valley of Elah where David slew Goliath and the road to Emmaus.
Mt. Carmel, Megiddo, Caesarea, Nebi Samwel
Todays journey had us in Kursi where Jesus cast demons into swine and then to the great city of the Decapolis, Bet She’an. We went up Mount Gilboa to the Spring of Hardod and then to the city where Jesus would have learned carpentry, Sepphoris. Eight couples renewed their vows in Cana and we ended the day with a cruise on the Sea of Galilee.
Today we went to the extreme north in Israel. We began our journey in Ashkelon on the West Coast, then South to the Red Sea. From there we came up the Eastern boundary and today we completed our North, South, East, West quest by going into the Golan Heights. Ancient Dan, Caesarea Philippi, Golan Heights.
